Air Conditioning Services
If central air cools the rest of your home, we maintain, repair and install those systems on any brand, too.
DUCTLESS TUNE-UPS
A ductless mini-split works quietly in the room, which is why dust, damp coils and clogged drain lines can build for a long time before anyone notices. Fesmire Heating & Air Conditioning is a second-generation, family-owned and operated company based in Pueblo, proudly serving homeowners in Pueblo, Pueblo West and nearby Southern Colorado towns, backed by 25+ years of service. We install LG mini-splits and maintain any brand. Every visit covers each indoor unit and the outdoor unit, and it ends with a written report of what we found and what we recommend next.

WHY IT MATTERS
Rinsing the filter you can see is a good habit, but the indoor coil, the blower wheel and the condensate line sit behind the cover where dust and moisture collect. A tune-up reaches those parts, which helps the unit move air and shed water the way it was designed to, season after season. It also gives us a chance to spot a sagging line or a loose cover before either one turns into a leak on your wall.
A system with several indoor units has several filters, coils and drain paths, and each one gathers dust at its own pace. A bedroom unit and a living room unit rarely get the same workload. We look at every unit separately, so one tidy room does not hide a neglected one, and your written report lists each indoor unit by the room it serves.
Fesmire began as a father's company and is now run by his son. For an ongoing maintenance relationship, that second-generation continuity means the people who wrote last season's report are the ones you reach with this season's question. Our company story explains how we work and why.
We install LG mini-splits, so ductless equipment is familiar ground for our team, but your system does not have to carry that name. Tell us the make and model when you call and we plan the visit around the equipment actually mounted on your wall and sitting outside your home, so the work fits your system instead of a generic checklist.
You receive a written report covering what we cleaned, what we measured and what we noticed. If something needs attention, we explain your options before any work begins. The decision stays with you.
Veterans and seniors receive 10% off when they mention it. It is the only special we run, and our Specials & Coupons page explains how it works, so bring it up when you call and we will make sure it is noted on your visit.
Our Maintenance Plans
Regular maintenance is the simplest way to protect your equipment. A system that gets checked before the season starts is far less likely to fail on the hottest or coldest day of the year in Pueblo. We offer maintenance plans for Pueblo-area homes.
Our residential maintenance covers the systems we install and service, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, and package units. Tune-ups help your equipment run efficiently, and they give us the chance to catch small problems before they become expensive ones.
OUR PROCESS
Before we open anything, we want to hear how each indoor unit has behaved, because a ductless system can serve one room or several and each one tells its own story.
Moisture and dust meet inside an indoor unit, so cleaning is the heart of a ductless tune-up. We take each unit in turn instead of treating the system as one block.
The outdoor unit and the lines that join it to the indoor units face Southern Colorado weather all year, so they get a careful look of their own.
Worn electrical parts and drifting sensors are easy to miss until a unit stops, so we test them while the system runs the way you use it.
We finish by putting what we cleaned, measured and noticed in writing, so you are never guessing about the condition of your equipment. Want a report on your own system? Call (719) 240-5109 and tell us what you have. If a unit is already leaking, flashing a fault or failing to keep up, our mini-split repair service is the better place to start.

COMMON QUESTIONS
We clean the filters, indoor coil, blower wheel and condensate drain on each indoor unit, then clean and inspect the outdoor unit and refrigerant lines. We test wiring and sensors, measure electrical and refrigerant readings, and run the system in each mode it offers. Afterward you receive a written report, so you know exactly where your equipment stands.
Most homeowners do well with a professional visit ahead of the heating and cooling seasons, with filter cleaning in between. Heavy use, pets or dusty rooms may call for more attention. Our residential maintenance plan is one way to keep care on a routine, and we will explain what it includes when you call (719) 240-5109.
Yes. Most indoor units have a filter that lifts out easily, and rinsing it gently and letting it dry fully before replacing it is a sensible habit. Turn the unit off first and check your owner's manual for the right method. Please leave the coil, blower wheel and drain to us, because those parts are delicate and easy to damage.
Wear and buildup usually creep in gradually, so a unit can feel normal while its coil collects dust or its drain slowly narrows. A tune-up finds those conditions while they are small. Dirt on a coil can also reduce airflow and leave a musty smell, so cleaning helps the system stay comfortable and quieter in your rooms.
Yes. Each indoor unit has its own filter, coil, blower and drain, so each gets its own cleaning and inspection, along with the outdoor unit that serves them. Your written report then notes the condition of each unit separately. Tell us how many units you have and which rooms they serve when you call, so we can plan the visit around your whole setup.
Sometimes. Cleaning can solve airflow loss, a musty smell or a slow drain. A failed part, a refrigerant leak or a control fault needs a repair, which is a separate diagnosis. If we find something like that, we explain it and your options before any work begins, and you decide how to proceed.
Have the brand and model from the labels on your indoor and outdoor units if you can find them, along with the number of indoor units and the rooms they serve. Mention any dripping, smells, noises or fault lights you have noticed. Call (719) 240-5109 Monday through Friday between 7am and 4pm, and we will get you scheduled.
Yes. A single-room system still has a filter, coil, blower and drain collecting dust and moisture, and often runs hard through a long season in that one space. A visit confirms the unit and the outdoor equipment are in good shape and gives you a written record to compare against next time.
Dry air carries dust, and ductless filters and coils collect it, so cleaning matters in our climate. A clean coil, clear drain and unobstructed outdoor unit let the system do its job through hot summers and cold winters. We cannot change the weather, but we can make sure your equipment is ready for it.
Yes. Veterans and seniors receive 10% off when they mention it. It is the only special we run, and there are no other coupons or stacking rules. Mention it when you call to schedule your tune-up, and we will make sure it is noted on your visit. The same discount applies when you schedule furnace maintenance for your heating equipment.

Fesmire Heating & Air Conditioning has been installing, repairing and maintaining heating and cooling equipment since 2000, and as a second-generation, family-owned and operated company, we put the needs of our customers first. Maintenance is where that shows most, because it is not a single call but a relationship with the people who look after your equipment. Over time, our written reports become a record of how each indoor unit and your outdoor unit have changed from one season to the next, which makes it easier to spot what deserves attention and what can simply be watched.
