WHY CHOOSE US
A ductless system stays on your wall and outside your home long after the installers drive away, so who installs it matters as much as what is installed. Fesmire began as a father's company and is now run by his son. For a long-term investment, that family-owned continuity means the people who plan and set your system are the people you call with questions later. Read our company story to see how we got here.
We install LG mini-splits, so ductless equipment is familiar ground for our team, and we install and service any brand. If you already have a make in mind, or want to add a unit beside a system you own, tell us and we plan the project around it instead of steering you toward whatever is easiest for us.
Every new residential installation comes with a 10-year parts and 1-year labor warranty. We explain how it works before you decide, so you know what protects your new system from the first day it runs. Your paperwork at handoff repeats the details, which means nothing depends on anyone's memory.
Where an indoor unit hangs shapes how well a room heats and cools. We look at the layout, the wall, where people sit and sleep, and where the outdoor unit can sit with room to breathe before we recommend anything. Southern Colorado's hot summers, cold winters and dry air put real demands on a system, so placement is part of the plan, not an afterthought.
We work with you every step of the way, putting the needs of our customers first. You hear your equipment choices, what the installation involves and what to expect before any work begins, and you request a quote for exactly the system you choose. We would rather you understand a recommendation than simply accept it.
We have been installing and servicing heating and cooling equipment for 25+ years. Veterans and seniors receive 10% off when they mention it. It is the only special we run, and our Specials & Coupons page explains how it works, so bring it up when you call.
OUR INSTALLATION PROCESS
Every ductless installation starts with the spaces you want to heat and cool, because the best equipment in the wrong spot never performs the way it should.
A ductless system works room by room, so the recommendation should too. We choose equipment after we understand the house, not before.
Careful preparation protects your walls and floors and gives the new equipment a clean start.
This is where the plan becomes a working system, and where careful measurements matter most.
We finish by making sure you know how to live with your new system and have everything you need to keep it protected. Ready to plan yours? Call (719) 240-5109 for a ductless installation quote and tell us about your rooms. Once the new system is running, mini-split maintenance keeps it cared for, and if your current unit is failing, our mini-split repair service can help you weigh a repair against replacement.

COMMON QUESTIONS
It depends on your rooms and your existing equipment. A mini-split suits spaces without ductwork, such as additions, finished basements and garages, and it can also give a hard-to-reach room its own comfort control. We look at your home, explain how ductless compares with your other options and let you decide. Call (719) 240-5109 Monday through Friday to talk it through.
We start with the rooms you want to heat and cool, how each one is used and how it connects to the rest of the house. Each indoor unit serves the space around it, so open layouts and closed bedrooms call for different plans. We recommend a layout and a unit for each space, explain why, and give you a quote for the system you choose before any work begins.
We install LG mini-splits, so ductless equipment is familiar ground for our team, but we install and service any brand. If you already prefer another make, or want to add a unit to a system you own, tell us when you call and we will plan around it. We explain the options that suit your home and your priorities before you decide.
New residential installations come with a 10-year parts and 1-year labor warranty. That coverage applies to new equipment installed in homes, and we explain how it works before you commit, so there are no surprises. Ask about the details when you request a quote, and keep your handoff paperwork somewhere safe so it is easy to find if you ever need it.
Yes, and it is one of the main reasons homeowners choose ductless. Refrigerant lines carry the work instead of ducts, so an addition, a converted garage or a finished basement room can get its own heating and cooling without a duct run. We look at the room, the wall where the indoor unit would hang and the spot outside for the outdoor unit, then explain what the project involves.
A ductless system needs a small opening through an exterior wall for the refrigerant lines, condensate drain and wiring that link the indoor and outdoor units. It does not need the duct runs a central system uses. We agree on each indoor unit's location with you first, seal the opening once the lines are in place and tidy the work area before we leave.
Sometimes it supplements them and sometimes it takes their place, depending on your home, the rooms involved and the equipment you have now. We do not push one answer. We talk through how you use each space, what your current system does well and where it falls short, then explain your options so the decision stays with you.
A ducted heat pump sends heated or cooled air through vents and ductwork, so that installation depends on the duct system you have. A mini-split puts an indoor unit in each room it serves and connects to the outdoor unit with refrigerant lines, with no ducts involved. If your home already has good ductwork, our heat pump installation page explains that option.
When we replace an existing mini-split, we shut down and disconnect the old equipment, recover the refrigerant and remove the units being replaced. You do not have to arrange disposal yourself. We also look over the mounting locations and the wall opening, so the new system starts on sound footing, and we talk through whether the existing locations still suit your rooms.
Clear the wall space where each indoor unit will hang and a path to the spot outside for the outdoor unit, and move furniture and stored items out of the way. Let us know about pets, and share the brand and model of any existing equipment. Call (719) 240-5109 Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
